About DHHC

Thank you for checking out Douglasville Homeschool Helpers!

We are a local co-op that provides a Christian environment for students to supplement their homeschool experience with classes and trips that provide a social learning environment.

We offer supplemental classes such as art, science, P.E., literature, and social sciences. We also offer field trips, social events, holiday parties, and educational nights such as an International night, a Science Fair, and a Biography night.

While DHHC strives to keep the co-op as affordable as possible, there are certain fees we have to pay in order to operate as efficiently as possible. For the 2023-2024 school year, we do have an investment of $60 per child per year, not to exceed $200 per family.

We meet every Monday at Dog River Methodist Church.

We are a volunteer-run co-op, meaning all moms and/or homeschool teachers are involved in the successful running of the school.  We are a family and a community.

Don't worry, you aren't expected to teach, but if you have any interests, we would love to have you lead a class in future semesters! God gave you gifts, and we hope you can find a way to share them with our students.

If you would like to chat with our director, her name is Amanda Moyer.  She can be reached at 404-512-5481 or dvillehhc@gmail.com.
