We meet on Fridays near Litchfield and Camelback.

If you are interested in participating in Central, West Valley, Surprise, North Valley, Mesa, or the Chandler campus you will need to request membership on their websites. Thank you!

Branches Southwest is now accepting applications for Fall 2024! We are in need of parents who are willing to teach, help in classes or be on our Set-Up/Tear-Down, and Cleaning Crews. Before your membership is approved you will receive a phone call from one of our administration staff members and we will conduct a short interview. During this interview we will learn about what you like to do and answer any questions you may have about Branches. In the mean time feel free to look over the website. We will have the Fall schedule up by early July. It takes lots of hand to make our community work and we look forward to hearing how you would like to contribute.

There is a $100 registration fee to join Branches. Please DO NOT pay the $100 until your membership has been approved. Unfortunately, this fee is non-refundable.

Sometimes we don't feel like we do, however God has gifted each of us with unique things that we're good at. It's especially intimidating to put yourself out there, in front of a group, but we are in this together! If you have an area, background, or speciality that you think could help Branches community in some way, please include it in the box below. It doesn't mean you are committing to teaching on that subject! Over time, we hope to add a variety of classes so that our children can be exposed to many different areas.

I understand that in order to have my children participate in class day, I am required to sign up for adult credits based on the number of class periods we are on campus whether or not my child(ren) is/are enrolled in a class. MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to build a Christ-centered co-op community, with a grace-filled culture, that equips, supports, and encourages homeschooling families and proclaims Christ’s leadership over all aspects of our lives. We desire to bring together homeschooling families who love God and want to share the knowledge of Jesus Christ with the next generation, by providing academic and enrichment classes, sports activities, and clubs from a Christian worldview, as well as opportunities for mentoring and friendships. Our teachers love God and communicate Biblical teaching and Christian values to our students.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. For purposes of doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our governing board is Branches’ final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person to reflect His image as either male or female; but that each person is by nature a sinner, and alienated from God.

We believe that salvation and reconciliation come only from God, by grace; that God in love gave His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sin, thereby purchasing the redemption of those who believe in Him.

We believe that marriage is prescribed by God as a sacred, covenant relationship between one man and one woman, symbolizing the union of Christ and His church, and all forms of sexual activity outside of marriage is sin.

We believe that every Christian, through the power of Jesus Christ, is called to live a life set apart that will bear fruit to the glory of God, and sinful behavior, or even advocacy of sinful behavior, dishonors God and should not be encouraged.

We believe that God loves every person and therefore we need to treat others with the compassion, love, kindness, and dignity that He shows us.

STATEMENT OF EDUCATION

We believe that it is the parents’ role and responsibility to educate their children individually on topics of a sensitive nature, including:

Out of respect for each family’s decision on when and how to teach these matters to their children, all teachers, volunteers, parents, and students are discouraged from discussing these topics with other children at Branches unless in a clearly defined class.

11. I understand that we are guests on the church campus and we must all work together to keep the church clean and maintained. I will clean up after myself, my children, and other children. I will also refrain from smoking and vaping while on church property. Maintaining a positive church relationship is integral to the success of Branches.

13. I understand that it is my responsibility to supervise and know where my children are at all times. If I am unable to attend a class period or day, I will find a responsible friend who will be in charge of my children who are attending (this is the exception, not the rule). I will make sure that we both sign a Temorary Guardianship Form and return it to the Snack Bar. I also understand that class day is not a drop off program. I will stay on campus, sign up for "jobs," and do my best to contribute my talents.

14. AFFIRMATION AGREEMENT

I hereby affirm that I have read the Branches Statements of Mission, Faith and Education, the Guidelines and Standards, Sickness Policy and the Code of Culture and Conflict Resolution. and have discussed these items with my children. I certify that I consent to and will submit to all policies and standards of this group, and I acknowledge that violation of these terms will carry consequences that could include dismissal from Branches.

I understand that admission to Branches is a privilege, not a right, and admission for one year does not guarantee automatic admission for future years.

16. Facility Usage Agreement

Purpose: This agreement outlines the expectations and responsibilities of families using the facilities provided for the activities and events of Branches Southwest. Our goal is to ensure that we leave the facilities in better condition than we found them, reflecting our commitment to stewardship and respect for shared spaces.

Agreement:

Respect for Property:
- All members and participants must treat the facilities, furniture, equipment, and grounds with respect and care.
- Any damages or issues must be reported immediately to the cooperative leadership.
Cleanliness and Tidiness:
- Before leaving, ensure that all areas used are clean and tidy. This includes:
  - Sweeping and mopping floors, if necessary.
  - Wiping down tables, chairs, and any other surfaces used.
  - Returning furniture and equipment to their original places.
  - Disposing of trash and recyclables in designated bins.
- Restrooms should be checked and left in a clean condition.
Use of Equipment:
- All equipment and supplies provided by the facility should be used responsibly and returned to their proper storage areas.
- Any borrowed items must be returned in the same condition as they were found.
Food and Beverages:
- Food and beverages are only allowed in designated areas.
- Ensure all spills are promptly cleaned up to prevent stains and damage.
Supervision of Children:
- Children must be supervised at all times to ensure their safety and the preservation of the facility.
- Parents are responsible for any damage caused by their children.
End-of-Day Checklist:
- An end-of-day checklist will be provided to ensure all tasks are completed. This checklist must be reviewed and signed off by the designated family or group responsible for closing the facility.
Consequences for Non-Compliance:
- Failure to adhere to this agreement may result in the following consequences:
  - A warning for the first offense.
  - A meeting with cooperative leadership for repeated offenses.
  - Possible suspension of facility usage privileges for continued non-compliance.

Commitment: By signing this agreement, you acknowledge your understanding of and commitment to these responsibilities. Together, we can maintain a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all members of our cooperative.
