RedStone Leadership Academy is a commonwealth school (organized homeschool co-op) that is geared toward helping homeschooling families and their youth (12-18) achieve greatness as they navigate their Scholar Phase of learning through Project Based Learning- we call it Scholar Projects.
Our educational philosophy is based on A Thomas Jefferson Education and The Phases of Learning by Oliver DeMille.

Leadership Education thru Scholar Phase- Our Philosophy at work:
Practice Phase:
Students begin to gain scholar skills in reading, writing, thinking,
computation to the degree that they become independent thinkers. It takespractice and sometimes looks inconsistent, but with rewards, positive peerpressure, great mentors, and inspiring learning projects & classics, these scholars
become consistent and focused in their efforts to excel. Choice is powerful!
LEMI Scholar Projects that help with the practice phase are:
Shakespeare Conquest - Key of Liberty - Sword of Freedom and Hero Project and Georgics
Apprentice Phase:
Scholars move from the need for extrinsic rewards to intrinsic
satisfaction in their efforts as they they double their personal study hours, chooseto do hard things, make and keep commitments, and exponentially increase their scholar skills, abilities, and knowledge, and truly gain a deep vision and sense of mission for their lives.
LEMI Scholar Projects that help with the apprentice phase are:
Pyramid Project - Classical Acting - Quest 1 & 2 - Quest 3
Self-Directed Phase:
This is “The Bar” where a student has proven that they
have the skills and abilities to read anything, speak persuasively, obtain the mentors they desire, work with mentors, and think. Scholars design their own Scholar Project to prepare themselves for college or trade, as desired.

College, trade-school, or professional apprenticeship.
