SHIELD Christian Co-Op exists to connect homeschooling families and assist them in their homeschooling journey in an affordable, encouraging, Christ-like manner.

We endeavor to serve our fellow homeschoolers in the greater Houston area, through our enrichment program and by providing many opportunities for social interaction.

Enrichment classes for nursery through high school! Friday school is divided into fall and spring semesters each consisting of 8-10 weeks. Class options vary each semester but may include art, history, science, PE, literature, theater, dance, etc.

We offer numerous field trips throughout the year. You can expect at least one field trip per month August through May and one or two through the summer. Field trips are scheduled at locations throughout the greater Houston area.

Join us at the park to log some miles with friends! For each mile you complete, you earn a "toe" tag for your keychain, See how many you can earn! Special event races are planned throughout the year. All paces welcome!

Book club is geared to readers from 3rd to 5th grade but all ages are welcome! Each month, members will read the selected book at home and then we'll get together to discuss the book and do some fun activities!
