Statement of Faith

The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of life, faith and conduct, including education. 

The Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons (the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit), and that these each are equal in every divine perfection, yet distinctly separate persons working separately yet together.

Creation

We believe in a literal, 6-day creation by God as stated in the Holy Scriptures. We reject all teachings of evolution or any other scientific theory that would contradict or challenge the Word of God. The Bible is our authority. 

Salvation

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and are, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that at the cross Christ made salvation available to all by taking upon Himself the punishment of each person’s sin. We believe that Christ’s sacrificial death was accepted by God as payment in full as evidenced by His resurrection from the dead according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, that He lives today to intercede in the lives of men, according to the Scriptures. We believe that those who, by an act of faith, repent of their sins & wholly trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior & Lord are forgiven, recipients of God’s great salvation, no longer under condemnation but under God’s grace, regenerated by the Holy Spirit (“born again”) according to the Scriptures, and now free to live for Him according to the enabling work of the Holy Spirit which compels us according to the love of Christ.
