Kimberly (never “Kim”) Grainger has taught for 40 years. From children’s church and Sunday School, to an Education degree and teaching at Pensacola Christian Academy, from writing and editing Christian school curricula to 16 years homeschooling four kids, Kimberly is an enthusiastic voice for Biblio-centric education. As a mother of four, MIL of three, and grandma of two, she loves children, and thrills when they grasp truth, grow in faith and enjoy the process. Kimberly is eagerly anticipating successful collaboration with students and parents, growing, laughing and learning together.

Mrs. Heidi Jensen

I was blessed to be born into a family that loves Jesus. My parents demonstrated that love and love for Christian music. I was blessed to be in multiple choirs and had Christian leaders. My great joy was to be in Musical Theatre and participate in award winning small group, solos, and HS select choir. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and was in select choir. After college I was part of Minnetonka Choral Society. I have directed children's choir and Grace Lutheran Church in Deephaven (now known as Calvary), and also directed children's choir at Wooddale in Eden Priaire and Westwood in Chanhassen. I have a nursing degree from Gustavus and worked at the U of M  and HCMC in pediatrics and pediatric oncology, and also Hopkins schools as a school nurse. My husband and I met in college and have been married for 50 years and have 4 sons and 6 grandchildren.

Mrs. Bonita Jerome

Bonita Jerome is a former classroom teacher turned homeschool mom. She has been homeschooling her own three children for the past ten years, while continuing to teach and tutor part time. After graduating in 1995 with her Bachelor's degree in education, Bonita's experiences in a variety of private schools allowed her the opportunity to teach a wide spectrum of subjects to students all the way from first grade to high school. She enjoys reading, writing, and traveling, and is looking forward to the opportunity to continue sharing these passions with the students at Rooted.

Mrs. Sarah Marchini

Sarah Marchini has a BS in Family Social Science from the University of MN where she met her husband of 21 years, Ryan. She worked in childcare and nannied while raising her young children. Her homeschool journey began when her daughter Gianna (now almost 16!) began preschool years and they both discovered how much they loved learning, playing and being creative together. God has continued to lead her family down this homeschooling path with Lucca (14) and Nicco (12) and has grown her passion for the gospel and helping kids appreciate His amazing world and love learning more about it!
