The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It is accurate, infallible, and applicable to our everyday lives.  It is the complete revelation of the will of God concerning salvation and all matters of life.    Hebrews 4:12

God

We believe in one God, the creator of all things.  God is revealed to us in the three persons of the trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:17

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of Mary who was a virgin.  He was crucified, buried, and rose from the grave.  He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.  Matthew 1:18, John 1:14

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity.  It is the Holy Spirit who enables our obedience to Christ, conforms us to His image, and empowers us to continue Christ’s mission in the world.   The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to us as individuals and binds us together as Christ’s body, the Church.  The Holy Spirit convicts and comforts us and as we follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit produces fruit in our lives.  Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 12, Galatians 5:22-25

Salvation

We believe that it is only through believing in the Sacrificial death of Christ Jesus that one can experience salvation.  In Christ we are set free from the sins that enslaved us.  We know this as “being born again.”  We are adopted into the family of God, when we repent of our sins and accept Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.  John 14:6, John 1:12, John 3:16, Ephesians 1:4-5

Prayer

We believe in the power and effectiveness of prayer.  Prayer should be a part of our daily life.  Philippians 4:6-7, James 5:15-16

Marriage

We believe that God created marriage to be the union of one man and one woman.  It is to be a single, exclusive union under God.  Matthew 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9

Sexuality 

We believe that God created mankind in His image.  Male and female.  We believe that sexuality is assigned by God at conception, male or female, and that Scripture does not permit an individual to alter their sexual identity.  We honor God’s recognition of our sex at birth.   1 Corinthians 6:9, Genesis 1:27

Sanctity of Life

We believe that life begins at conception and that God has a call, anointing, and plan for an unborn baby’s life.  We believe that only God has the power to give life and the authority to end it.  Genesis 1:27, Psalms 139:13-16
