Community Christian Homeschoolers is a Christian homeschooling group in North Central Florida.
We are led and run exclusively by parent volunteers. Every opportunity that CCH offers started as an idea that one or more families wanted to make possible, and then found the support within CCH to make it happen.

We are more than a typical co-op. As an organization, we offer many ways for families to connect and support each other in the journey of homeschooling.
Below you will find more information about what CCH offers and ways to participate, in three main categories of participation.

Subgroups are structured the way many people think of co-op. These groups meet at regular intervals and each meeting builds on the previous ones. Due to their nature, members are expected to attend all meetings possible.
The content may or may not be academic, there may be field trips offered within the group, and there is typically a fee associated with each Subgroup.

For the upcoming School Year, the Subgroups being offered are:

Field Trips: This subgroup plans monthly field trips. There is no size cap or age restriction on this group.
(**This group's meetings do not build on each other, therefore they may be attended "a la carte" when you're a subgroup member.**)

Middle School Hangouts & Service: This subgroup is only for students in the middle school grades (6th-8th). It offers social and service activities monthly. There is no size cap on this group.

High School Social and Service: This subgroup is for students in high school (9th-12th). It offers social activities and service opportunities monthly.

Summit: This subgroup covers science, history, along with other academic and enrichment classes such as geography, art, music, logic, public speaking, etc. The group is for students in Kindergarten through 11th grades. Summit is size limited.

Painting, Poetry, & Etymology: This subgroup focuses on acrylic painting techniques and color theory, art creation, poetry study and creation, and word roots study. Painting, Petry, & Etymology is size limited.

General Membership: This subgroup is for members who choose not to join any other subgroup. It allows members to participate in clubs, activites, and large group field trips.

In past years, Subgroup offerings have included Chorus, Science, Writing, Apologetics, English Composition, and many more.

Clubs are similar to Subgroups in that they meet at regular intervals. However, each meeting does not necessarily build on the previous ones.
While it is ideal to attend all meetings, a student will not typically be unprepared for a meeting because of having missed the previous one.
The content may or may not be academic, there may be field trips offered within the group, and there is typically a fee associated with each Club.

For the upcoming School Year, the Clubs being offered are:

Cheetah Cubs Club, K-3rd Grades

Photography Club, 6th-12th Grades

Yearbook Club, 9th-12th Grades

PE Club, K-8th Grades

Board Games, 6th-12th Grades
