* and More!

This ministry also endeavors to offer co-operative academic opportunities for homeschooling students in kindergarten through 12th grade via Laude Homeschool Co-op.

Laude Homeschool Co-op

Laude Homeschool Co-op, a service of the SAMC Homeschool Ministry, provides academic and extra-curricular classes in a supportive community based on our common faith.

We offer a wide array of classes for grades K-12 taught by experienced parents from our co-op as well as several professional teachers.

Parent-taught classes are supply fee only, making Laude an affordable option for families.

As a true homeschool cooperative, all member families serve either by teaching or providing support to the co-op day through duty requirements including set up, clean up, or monitoring lunch and hallways.

Homeschooling in the Catholic Tradition

"Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. They bear witness to this responsibility first by creating a home where tenderness, forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule. The home is well suited for education in the virtues." ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church, No. 2223

The St. Anthony Mary Claret (SAMC) Homeschool Ministry (HSM) and Laude Homeschool Co-op (Laude) provide a Catholic learning environment for homeschooling families in San Antonio, Texas.  We abide by the teaching authority of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and assist each other in our mission as primary educators.  Membership is available to every homeschooling family, according to the universal nature of the Catholic Church.  In order to participate, every parent and student must respect the Catholic nature of our ministry and our members.
