What CHET-NW Offers

Most of  our activities are held in the Northwest Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley areas.

Park  Day – Occasional Days, usually once a month,  to fellowship with other families.  Bring your lunch, scooters, bikes and enjoy some of the equipment that CHET-NW provides as well

Forums – Available to all CHET-NW members for daily questions, support, homeschooling ideas and questions, connection to other homeschooling families, etc. 

Graduation – Kindergarten, 8th, and Senior ceremonies

Potlucks/Picnics – Family fellowship

Used Curriculum Sale – Many items sold individually throughout  the year as well as a group sale at the end of the year

Field Trips –  For any members that would like to coordinate a group to join their family

Workshops –  Learn how other homeschool families have made it through the years.  Topics on workshops vary.

Teen Group – Open to CHET-NW teens beginning at age 12

PreK-6 group – Activities out and about at parks and other fun places for play and meeting friends.

Website – Calendar, member forums for questions, answers, support, etc., and weekly email updates

Member Care – Caring for members in need

Homeschool mentoring – Many of our long time homeschooling moms have the heart to help.

Depending on volunteers available, other Resources and Opportunities are usually available to homeschooling families within our support organization.
