NOTE: Attendance at the Intro to Arduino – Light OR the Intro to Arduino – Full is required before taking this class.
This 6-class course (2 hrs/class) is designed to provide the student with the experience of building and programming an Arduino based robot. This two-wheeled robot will teach interfacing skills required to make it move, avoid objects, follow a line, and respond to the remote control input.
Class takeaways are: Robot Build and Design, Arduino Servo Control/Motion, Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, RF Remote and Battery pack management.
All components will be mailed to the student by Katapult (equipment and postage is included in the price of the class). Students must have access to a computer and the internet. Windows machines are preferred however Katapult should be able to support IOS machines as well. Adult supervision during classes is requested. All classes will include emailed documentation and attendees on a joint ZOOM.
