Mrs. Ashley Glassick
I am Ashley Glassick, a California transplant in snowy Michigan. I am the mom of three small children who keep me on my toes. I have taught math for six years in both middle and high school settings. My degree in math comes from University of California, Riverside. Additionally, I have a teaching credential from Cal State, Monterey Bay and Master’s from Concordia. Two years ago, I began my Charlotte Mason journey and will be homeschooling my oldest soon. I enjoy reading, going on hikes with my family, and spending time with my wonderful church community.
Dr. Julie Ryle
I am a CM homeschooling mom of four children, three by the miracle of birth and one by the miracle of adoption. I earned my PhD in math in 2009 from the University of Alabama. Since then, I have taught math in a variety of venues, from gifted middle school math classes to college courses. Co-founding Climbing Higher Math with Tabitha has been such a blessing to me! I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with CM students from around the US (and Canada!). Though I have always loved math, teaching in this environment has deepened my appreciation for the natural applications of math all around us.
Mrs. Tabitha Wirges
I am the momma of three teenage boys, wife of an adventurous husband, and daughter of Christ. My journey of homeschooling our boys began shortly after earning my B.S. in math at the University of Central Arkansas in 2008. Soon I was diving into Charlotte Mason's amazing teaching philosophy. Teaching others has always been a passion of mine, and Mason's philosophy resonated with that passion. Since then, I have been blessed with opportunities to help students see the beauty of math; including tutoring and teaching middle school math at a private CM school. Working with Dr. Julie in creating Climbing Higher Math has been another outlet for my passion and is such a huge blessing! The discussions with students from various places have deepened my love for this subject! I look forward to learning more with them.
