Katherine Short To All Instructors



Katherine holds a B.A. from Hollins University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University. Before completing her NILD Level One Educational Therapy coursework, she taught history to middle school and upper school students at a residential facility. She also has experience teaching in a preschool before being trained to provide the Search and Teach program for 5-7 year olds that are demonstrating early reading struggles. She enjoys long walks with her golden retriever, spending time with her two adult children, and playing pickleball with friends.
