Gina Hanvey To All Instructors

Gina Hanvey recently retired from 30 years in Virginia Beach City Public Schools where she worked as a Reading Specialist, a Reading Recovery Teacher and a classroom teacher. Prior to her time at VBCPS, she had an additional 5 years of teaching experience. She has a master’s degree in Reading Instruction from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has a passion for working with struggling learners and is honored to be joining the PATHS with Academy and Brain Bridges of Hampton Roads community as an NILD certified educational therapist.
