About
VIA’s Mission: To support homeschool parents in their role as primary educators of their children by coordinating the availability of solid Catholic tutors providing authentic Catholic academics.
VIA began in 2013 and meets at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, utilizing the classrooms left vacant after the parish school closed in 2011.
Mass at Sts Peter and Paul is at 8:00 am on Tuesdays and 8:30 am on Thursdays; VIA classes begin shortly after mass lets out. VIA families are also welcome to stop in at Sts Peter and Paul's Perpetual Adoration Chapel.
Other amenities include:
Dining hall (with microwaves): available for quiet family study, study hall, and lunch.
Library/nursery: available for parents with younger children. Includes couches, a table, books, toys, etc.
Gym: available at specific times throughout the day for children to play under their parent's supervision.
Playgrounds: available for children to play under their parent's supervision.
We also have monthly Game Nights for students in 7th-12th grade, an end of the year VIA Extravaganza (ballet & piano performances, project fair, student artwork, class displays, and a book sale), and more.
