Mr. Matthew Shook To All Instructors

I believe in striving and assisting others in a lifelong pursuit of truth that leads to a more intimate understanding of God. I'm joyfully married to my love, Amy, with whom I homeschool our two children Luca and Hazel. When not at FCCT I can be found helping manage a local Trader Joe's, trying out a new hike in the greater Pacific Northwest, "training" our spunky English Shepherd Sadie Lou, delving into very old yet inspiring Christian texts, and refining my attempts to make the perfect espresso latte.

I have over seven years teaching experience including public, private, Montessori, and international settings, but enjoy homeschooling most of all. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Art from Chapman University, and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on education and community from California State University Fullerton. While I greatly enjoy developing and inspiring youth, it's an area I approach with deep reverence, care, and responsibility (James 3:1).
