All Ages: Showers Christmas Tree Farm Tour

Date: Dec 13, 2023
Time: 10a – 11:30a
Cost: $5/tour; $16.50/tour plus swag craft
Ages: All ages
Sign up: All ages including adults. Visit the event website here
Contact: Beth Mellott: HomeschooLegacy@gmail.com

Join us as we tour a Christmas tree farm. Festivities are in the air as we wander through the fields and learn about the different types of trees, as well as how they are grown, trimmed and harvested. The holiday spirit will continue as we also see the wreath machine and learn how live wreaths and swags are made. But the holiday fun isn’t over yet. We will get an elk-drawn hayride (weather permitting) and then continue on to the petting zoo and the “picture spot” where you can have your picture taken with an antique tractor and/or a toboggan. (This will take about an hour.)

There is also an additional swag craft available for those who would like to try their hand at a new skill. The swag-making will happen after all the other fun and these would make excellent Christmas gifts for relatives! (This will take an additional half hour.)

All activities are outside so dress accordingly.
