Ice Cream Social - Thrive Program Focused (Highschool grades 9th+)
We’re excited to invite homeschool students and families in our community to an Ice Cream Social and Q&A about our co-op! The Ice Cream Social and Q&A will provide a platform to ask questions, meet other families, and get a feel for our community. It is also an excellent opportunity to learn about our new location in Bremerton and our new Thrive program for our middle and high school students. Our enrichment-focused programs cover grades k-12, and we always welcome younger siblings. Both programs will convene on the same day and in the same facility but on separate floors, ensuring that our kids and teens have their own spaces to thrive.
This session is geared toward our prospective Thrive Program families, particularly the prospective high schoolers in 9th+ grades and their families. There is a separate session geared toward our middle schoolers (grades 7th & 8th). Thrive is for our middle and high school students in 7th grade and up. We recognize that middle school and high school students have different needs than our elementary students, and even among these students, they may have greatly different needs from a co-op. We have made, and hope to grow, a place where our teens can create and maintain close friendships and learn together, sharing their differing worldviews and experiences as they grow into strong young adults.
Remember, if you can’t come to the session geared to your child, that is OK! We welcome you to attend on the date that is best for your family. We will answer your questions after the main Q&A for the day.
