Cornerstone Educational Cooperative (CEC) exists to help encourage and support the homeschool experience for Christian families in the Palouse area.  

CEC is a one-day a week family learning environment that will meet on Tuesdays in Moscow, Idaho during the 2024-2025 school year.

CEC is a true cooperative, in that we do not “hire” teachers to provide a “classroom” experience for our children, but we pool together the strengths of our membership to provide a passionate, hands-on learning experience for our children.  Your strength as a home educator may be another parents’ weak point, and vice-versa. Together we band together to provide a dynamic learning environment that allows us to bring our best efforts together for the benefit of all our children. We seek to provide a good balance of educational core subjects, as well as engaging enrichment classes for our younger grade levels. Some may require homework, but all are intended to supplement a student’s core curriculum at home. For our Jr/Sr High School students we focus primarily on those “challenging” core subjects and electives.

Because homeschool families come in all shapes and sizes we have incorporated a separate pre-school program and nursery to make participation at one location doable for those with students of all ages. CEC holds to a Christian Statement of Faith, and all classes will be taught from a Christian perspective. Click here to read our statement of faith and code of conduct.
