Payment Day Info

WHEN:    Monday, April 15, 2024

                    10AM- 1PM

WHERE:    Foyer of GT Church

 

WHAT WE ARE PAYING FOR: 

-- ALL SEEK class fees (both semesters)

-- SEEK Annual Membership fee -- ($60 cash/check made out to "SEEK")

       ***We have a SEEK Sunshine Fund available for any member going through hardship and needing a little support making payments. Reach out to Andrea Calkins or April King in the directory. 

 

HOW DO WE PAY?

Before Payment Day:

  1. Click on the Credit Card/Outstanding Balance icon at top of the SEEK homepage.

  2. Click on Invoice Summary to see your classes and the fees to be paid.

  3. Click the Print icon in the top right corner to have a hardcopy, if you wish.

  4. Prepare how you will pay for classes

    • Personal check

    • Cash (must get receipt from cash table before submitting payment into envelope)

    • Digital payment

      • If a teacher is participating in digital payment, this information will be listed in their contact info here: Instructors (homeschool-life.com)

      • We will also have it written down for you on rosters during payment day.

      • If using Paypal-- please use the option for "Friends & Family" to avoid surcharge.

 

During Payment Day:

  1. PAY CLASS FEES:

    1. FYI for our new members: we pay class fees to teachers directly, not SEEK.

    2. Find the Teacher/Class Envelopes on tables in foyer, displayed alphabetically by last name.

    3. Find your student's name on the Class Roster.

    4. Write the following in the blank next to your student's name:

      1. Your check/cash receipt number OR the digital payment platform you used to pay 

      2. Your parent initals 

    5. Add your payment to the envelope, if applicable.

      • If paying CASH (exact only) you must get a receipt at the cash table to attach to your cash before placing in envelope.

      • You may write out ONE check for each teacher if they are teaching multiple classes to multiple children in your family; however, please still initial each roster the amount paid for each class and indicate which envelope the one check is in.

    6. Remember: it's important that you accurately document your payment on the roster as it's the official record that you made payment.

  2. PAY SEEK MEMBERSHIP FEE- Look for the table with leadership member present to submit your annual $60 membership payment ($35 cash portion will be collected in August at Parent Meeting).

 

If Unable to Make Payment Day:

  1. Communicate! Inform your child's teacher(s) that you will miss payment day and please bring payment the next co-op day or discuss a plan to pay. Can also give your payments to a friend to pay on your behalf. 

  2. Mail the Annual Membership Fee Check to: Andrea Calkins, 4 Buck Run, Reinholds, PA 17569   *Make sure the check is made out to SEEK, not Andrea!!

 

Instructions for Teachers:

  • You will take your envelope(s) home with you at the end of payment day if all payments received. If some of your parents were absent, leadership may hold on to them for next co-op.

  • After payment day, you will be responsible to manage and track payments. Please reach out to the leadership team if you are having issues acquiring payments

 

NEW PAYMENT POLICY: Anyone who has NOT paid for their classes needs to please pay within the final 2 weeks of co-op. If payments are not received by the end of the month (April 30th), students will start being removed from rosters. Even if you have arranged late payment with a teacher, they ARE NOT required to wait for payments past the end of the month.
