What Is SCA?
SCA is a homeschool support group for families, who are mostly from South Orange County, and who take full responsibility for their children’s education. We come alongside our member families to offer organization and support in these and many other ways:

Private School Satellite Program SCA files an affidavit as a private school with the state of California each year and is classified as a Private School Satellite Program (PSP). |

Member SCA is a Support Group Member of Christian Home Educators Association of California. |

Activities SCA offers a wide variety of support activities and resources to our families, including record keeping, testing, special events, field trips, assemblies, monthly parent (faculty) meetings and supplementary classes (e.g., Choir, Speech & Debate, etc.). |

Protected SCA families are required to be members of Home School Legal Defense Association. All families are eligible for a discount on HSLDA membership fees. |

Small Groups SCA organizes families into small groups which facilitates sharing of information, mentoring and support, while fostering fellowship and friendships. |

SCA is not a part-time school nor is it associated with any type of day school.
SCA does not provide or choose your curriculum or materials.
