Registration, Participation, & Fees

Registration is active in late spring each year to register for the following school year (see “dates” tab for current school year for exact registration dates).  During this registration period, only current co-op participants – who have taken steps indicated below to remain in the co-op – may register for classes.  Families who have completed a New Participant Form and are on the waiting list will be invited to register if there is space available.

CURRENT/RETURNING PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

If you are currently a participant of the co-op and wish to remain in it for the next school year, the leadership team must receive formal notification of your intent to return for the next year.  If you do not submit the required notification, we will assume you are not returning to the co-op.  Members of the waiting list will be invited to take your family’s place in the co-op.  Please visit our Participation – Returning Participants page for instructions regarding the required notification.

WAITING LIST

If you are not a currently-active participant of Discovery Days, and have not been invited yet from the waiting list, please do not register for classes.  If you would like to join our waiting list, please visit Participation-Waiting List and complete the New Participant Form.

REGISTRATION

During annual registration, detailed registration instructions will be given on our Registration For Classes page.

You may register for all four sessions or for only three. You do not have to register for all day, but no matter for how many sessions you register the registration fee, custodial fee and building usage fee is the same.  Please also note that it is a full school year commitment.  There are no refunds or pro-rated discounts.

Registration priority is given in the following order:

Leadership Team’s children
Teachers’ children
Assistants’ children

The more you teach, the more likely your children are to get their first choices in their classes.
