DISCIPLINE PROCEDURE
1st Offense:

• Student will be reminded of the expectation.

2nd Offense:

• Student will be sent to the on-site director for the remainder of the class period. Parents will be notified.
• Parent needs to respond by email to the tutor on on-site director that they are aware of the concern, have discussed appropriate behavior with their student, and are willing to make restitution or apologies if requested.

While we hope to not navigate such waters, conflict resolution may be necessary at PATH.

PROCESS FOR RESOLVING CONFLICT

First, an attempt to resolve an issue or policy/code violation should be made between individuals before coming to the director. Email or text is not recommended. The director will ask if you first attempted to address the issue with the individual and how before getting involved. If the director decides it's a policy/code violation, the following steps will be taken:

• Talk with individuals to see if it is resolved.
• If issue is unresolved, individuals meet with director to reach a resolution.
