Home School Curriculum

Note: This is still under construction.

Home schooling may begin any time of year. You may begin without your curriculum in your possession. According to law, you must cover the subjects of reading, language arts, math, science and social studies.

Curriculum is available for purchase online, brick and mortar stores, and conferences and seminars. The GHEA Conference and the Southeastern Home School Expo are events that feature many vendors happy to help you. You are not required to purchase all of your curriculum from any one company or source. You may pick and choose what is appropriate for your family and your child(ren).

In evaluating your academic choices, you are encouraged to read the article at this link. It is not about academics really but is about what's most important. (If this link or any other one does not work, please let us know by clicking the 'Comments' tab and leaving the information.)
