Welcome to the Tri-County Christian Home Educator's Website
Whether you are new to home schooling, new to the area, or new to our group, we hope you find information here to help you in your home schooling journey. Our members are from the Hart, Elbert, Franklin, Madison and Stephen Counties in Northeast Georgia.
TCCHE seeks to provide fellowship, encouragement, and support to Christian home schooling parents to help them successfully teach and minister to their children. We seek to provide the opportunity for our children to form godly relationships in an atmosphere where Christian standards and values are shared by all. Our families sign the statement of faith, agree to adhere to our policies and guidelines, and agree to comply with the home study law of the state of Georgia.
We offer several activities throughout the year such as a Back to School Party, Christmas Craft Day, Biography Fair, Art Fair, Valentine Party, Christmas Parties, field trips, educational events, workshops, Yearbook Club, free yearbook picture sessions, youth social events, Clue/Murder Mystery social, a year-end party, and Senior Graduation.
Our website offers useful information about home schooling, a calendar of our events, sign ups for scheduled events, classifieds to advertise items for sale, give-away or wanted, and forums to share prayer needs.
Non-members may attend one event prior to joining the group. Full website access will be allowed once membership is approved and annual dues are paid. Before joining, you will want to be sure to click "About TCCHE" to read our statement of faith, policies and guidelines, compliance agreement, and letter about GCA (which is found under "Homeschool and GCA"). Dues are $40.00/year and can be paid by PayPal at tcchega@gmail.com or by check mailed to 1350 Thermon Adams Rd, Dewy Rose, GA 30634.
As of May 2011, TCCHE will only accept new memberships from families who are home schooling at least one child. Therefore, if a family is using GCA (public school at home), Mountain Ed, or any other form of public schooling to school their children, they will not be permitted to join.
