Ellis County Homeschool Civics Fair
ECCHO presents the 2024 Ellis County Homeschool Civics Fair! Civics is defined as a social science dealing with the rights and duties of citizens. Join us to hear from individuals who have exercised their rights and taken on duties to impact our local community and government. Attendees will learn about local and state government from some of our own local elected officials, and will hear how they can have a positive impact at any age.
Speakers include:
-State Senator Brian Birdwell
-Ellis County Precinct 2 Commissioner Lane Grayson
-Ellis County Tax Assessor-Collector Richard Rozier
-Ellis County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Louis Ponder; Involuntary annexation reform in Ellis County
-Grace Pandithurai- candidate for Ellis County District 443 Judge
-Midlothian ISD School Board Member (Place 7) Ed Harrison
-Faith Howe- Red light camera ban; Homeschooling advocate

This is not a drop off event. Unless driving themselves, students need to be with a parent or another adult accompanying them
