What We Offer

HSLDA Discount:  CHC is a Homeschool Legal Defense Association discount group.  Members can receive $15 off their annual HSLDA membership.  

Fall Kickoff Picnic:  Every August we host a fall kickoff event. in the past we've held pot lucks, BBQs, and ice cream socials. This is where you can meet some fellow CHC members that you and your kids can do life together. Watch the website for updates about our next kickoff event.

Pizza Picnic in the Park:  In September we host a fall pizza picnic at Hessel Park. Bring your lawn chairs and drinks.  Pizza will be provided at a small cost per person.

Field Trips:  This is where we need you!  CHC is a volunteer led organization!  Any fun place you’d like to visit – chances are others would love to join you, especially if they offer discounts to groups! Help us plan your next field trip with friends by contacting the Events and Field Trips Director here.

Family Center:  Our weekly Thursday morning co-op.  More information can be found here. 

Play Dates in the Park:  Come play and fellowship on Thursday afternoons while the weather is nice.  

Mom’s Night Out:  Come join other homeschool moms for a night out with no husband or kids. These times are full of laughter, food, and fellowship with other moms. Moms nights out are typically planned once a month.  

Mentor A Mom Program:  Volunteer to be a mentor and be matched with a new homeschooling mom.  This is a beautiful opportunity for our veteran families to connect with and encourage our new homeschooling families.  

Mom’s Book Club:  Join other moms for a book discussion club.  More information to come.  

Krannert Tickets:  CHC receives discounted youth performance series tickets for our members. Keep posted through our members only FB and here on our website.   

Our goal is to come alongside and offer support in your homeschooling journey!  We are always open to ideas to better offer that support!  Don't hesitate to contact a board member for assistance in implementing a new idea or event!
